- Silvestri PhotographyMatt planned Rachel’s proposal around something meaningful to both of them — the life they’re building together. On Earth Day, he brought Rachel for a walk through the grounds of Van Hoosen Farm. Waiting near the river was a potted flowering tree he had placed there earlier that day. As they approached, Matt got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him. The tree symbolized the beginning of their family tree — a thoughtful way to mark the start of their engagement. After Rachel said yes, we walked through the park capturing a few portraits while the excitement of the moment was still fresh. Matt and Rachel, congratulations on this next chapter together.
