MEET JAMES Hello! I'm James, a wedding photographer based out of the Metro Detroit area. I bought my first "nice camera" when I was 18. Becoming a professional photographer seemed like a dream to me and the fact that I'm currently living that dream kind of gives me goosebumps. I teach a photography class to adults on the spectrum within Oakland University's Center for Autism and I've been shooting weddings for the last 10 years. I really can't get enough of it.
There isn't a lot I won't do to "get the shot." From stopping traffic, to standing in the rain or from crawling through bushes to laying on the ground, I've done it all. It's my commitment to each couple I work with to capture as many intimate moments as possible. Will the groom cry when he sees his bride walking down the aisle? I'll shoot it. Will your grandparents crack-up at one of the speeches? I'll shoot that too. Each of these moments will add up to make your day unforgettable and I would love the opportunity to talk with you about how I can help capture them all.
Want to know more? Here are a few facts about me:
I recently married the most wonderful woman, Jacqueline. She's my favorite person ever.
Together, we have a brown-spotted Dalmatian named Tali and she means the world to us both.
I'm a massive Harry Potter nerd. My Christmas tree is entirely Harry Potter themed.
I'm a proud Italian and would be happy to eat pasta every day of my life.
I love home projects. Tiling, painting, drywalling, carpentry, landscaping. You name it - I love it.
I'm obsessed with plants. Our house has a ton of windows, so naturally I can't stop collecting plants. It's a problem.
